Install wood blocking and trim at the pocket door as called out in PR #28. The original design did not include this blocking and trim. Add $136 Add to Kellington's contract to install the wire mesh partitions provided by others. This is an add to Kellington's contract, but NOT an add to the project. It was known that this work would need to be completed, so a budget had been kept in the contract for this work Add $5,984 Furnish and install fiber reinforced panels (FRP) around two janitors mop sinks as directed in PR #36. Add $461 Alternate SA Concrete Paving: We would also propose approval of Alternate Number SA to construct concrete paving at the lower entrance to City Hall and outside the Public Works lunchroom area to a11ow for tables and chairs either for staff to use these areas on their lunch break in fair weather or for informal outdoor meeting space for the staff or public. This is an excellent value for the amount of concrete paving for $2,800. Financial Implications: A contingency budget was reserved within the project budget for unforeseen conditions, design problems, and construction complications. The approximate contingency remaining is $230,000 after all potential changes are considered at this time. This amount would also need to cover any additional alternates the Council desires to complete the proj ect. We anticipate some additional unforeseen conditions as we begin the remodel of the e�sting city hall in May. We feel this amount is adequate to completethe project at or below budget. RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: Motion to approve the following change orders to the contracts of: Spectra Contract Flooring Twin City Acoustics Bartley Sa1es Co.
