Mr. Kysylyczyn discussed the goals <br />outlined on the post card mailing for the meeting versus his <br />perception of the amount of time allowed for residential <br />input. Mr. Kysylyczyn also noted the lack of audio on the <br />cable television video of the meeting; and hoped that future <br />meetings were more successful. <br />Mayor Klausing asked staff to investigate the technical <br />problems in recording the meeting for future reference. <br />E. John Goedeke, 2674 Virginia Avenue <br />Mr. Goedeke also spoke in support of an environmental <br />commission. <br />Mr. Goedeke stated that, as Chair of the Suburban Kiwanis <br />Golden K Club, his purpose in public comment tonight was <br />to invite the public to an upcoming Suburban Kiwanis <br />Golden K meeting at which the Mayors of the Cities of <br />Arden Hills, New Brighton, Roseville and Shoreview <br />would be speaking, followed by a time of questions from <br />those in attendance and directed at the respective mayors. <br />Mr. Goedeke also invited City Manager Beets to attend the <br />meeting. <br />F. Bruce Kennedy, 1416 Skillman <br />Mr. Kennedy spoke regarding the Special Election <br />scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Mr. Kennedy then <br />initiated discussion regarding an alleged ethical complaint <br />against Councilmember Schroeder, seeking how to proceed <br />now that the Ethics Commission was no longer in <br />operation. <br />Councilmember Schroeder called for a Point of Order and <br />was recognized by the Chair. Councilmember Schroeder <br />requested that any complaint or accusation directed at him <br />should be made in writing, rather than his being subjected <br />to verbal abuse in a public meeting. <br />
