Community Town Hall Meeting — 04/26/04
DRAFT Minutes - Page 5
Councilmember Ihlan requested that staff and the City Attorney
ensure that parallel provisions are included in the document
allowing for termination rights with 90 days for both the City
and T-Mobile Wireless.
Councilmember Kough sought clarification related to any citizen
complaints regarding signal interference from lessees on the
monopole.
Mr. Miller responded that to-date, staff had received no
complaints; and noted that lease agreement language specifically
addressed such existing or future interference issues on any
Federal Communication Commission (FCC) approved signals.
Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of a Lease Agreement
between the City of Roseville and T-Mobile Wireless, for leasing
space at the City Hall Campus Monopole; and authorization for
the Mayor and City Manager to execute the agreement, upon
final review and approval by the City Attorney.
Roll Call
Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder and Klausing
Nays: None
5. Mr.
Miller advised that, rather than tracking the expenditures on a
daily basis, it was common municipal practice to address the
revisions annually. Mr. Miller identified several sources of
additional revenues that funded and offset additional
expenditures and appropriations. Mr. Miller noted that this
requested action was a procedural request prior to final approval
of the fina12003 budget, anticipated at the May 24, 2004 regular
Council meeting.
At the request of Mayor Klausing, Mr. Miller briefly reviewed
the four specific amendments and funds affected:
Necessary
Amendments
2003 Budget
