Crive priority to City and County State Aid roads in major industrial (and <br />commercial) areas to give maximum assistance to development of such <br />properties as a means of improving the tax base. <br />11. Restrictloading and unloading zones on the front to the sides and rear of <br />industrial buildings. <br />12. Insure developmentof adequate off-streetparlcing to serve new and <br />existing industrial uses through adoption and revision of appropriate site <br />planning standards. <br />13. Where existing parking facilities have proven inadequate, encourage <br />industry to improve and expand parking facilities; where possible <br />encourage the use of multi-level and underground parking structures to <br />reduce excessive use of land area for parking. <br />14. Require specific site planning and landscape plans to ensure completion <br />of adequate site beautification. Set standards for site improvements and <br />review each specific development. <br />15. Facilitate the development of office and hi tech business parlc uses at the <br />northwest corner of I 35W and Highway 36. Encourage office and/or light <br />industry facing the I 35W corridor. <br />16. Prohibit retail sales development within industrial districts, except in <br />xriixed use planned unit developments. <br />1� <br />
