Plannin� File 3602: Request by United Properties for Preliminary and <br />Final Plat and affrmation of Final Planned Unit Development for Outlot <br />A, known as Applewood Pointe Phase II, to allow the construction of row <br />town homes (3 complexes) totaling 17 units. <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested the City Planner, Thomas Paschke, to <br />summarize the request as per the project report dated October 6,2004. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Member Bakeman expressed concern with the visual image (boring visually). Thomas <br />Paschke explained that landscaping and screening will be required and that the drawings <br />do not illustrate the detail of the building facade. Thomas Paschke explained that staff <br />will work with the development manager. <br />Chair Mulder recalled the Planning Commission's concern for long, straight roof lines. <br />Can it be broken up either vertically and/or horizontally? <br />No further comments.
