REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 3/13/00 <br />ITEM NO.: F-1 <br />Department Approval: 1�Tanager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />`� � Reports/Recommendations <br />C�`--���� <br />Item Description: Resolution approving plans and specifications and ordering advertisement for bids <br />for 2000 Pavement Management Program (PMP) contracts <br />Background: On Monday, February 14, 2000, public improvement hearings were held for the 2000 <br />Pavement Management Program. Following the hearings, the City Council approved the construction of <br />each of the proposed projects. The next step in the process is for the City Council to approve plans and <br />specifications and authorize the advertisement for bids. The work proposed for 2000 has been assembled <br />into one construction contract, Contract B. <br />The feasibility report includes 3 options for Lovell Avenue in neighborhood 32. Currently staff is <br />proceeding with Option 2: Reconstruct the road as a Parkin� lot.
