The number and types of units within the rent al property (single family, duplex, triplex or 2 <br />fourplex). 3 <br />5. Number of Bedrooms in dwelling unit. 4 <br />6. Name of tenant head of household who currently resides within the unit. 5 <br />7. Number of adults and children (under 18 years of age) currently occupying the dwelling unit. 6 <br /> 7 <br />A rental property owner and/or the designated agent must notify the City in writing within 15 calendar 8 <br />days after any change in the above information. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Section 907.04. Fees. There shall be an annual license fee. There shall also be a license transfer fee and a 11 <br />license reinstatement fee. All fees shall be esta blished by annual resolution of the City Council. 12 <br />Administrative fines for failure to comply with a ny portion of these rules, standards, statutes, and 13 <br />ordinances shall also be established by resolution of the City Council. Except as may be provided in 14 <br />Section 907.23 hereof, all fees and fines shall be charged to and payable by the property owner. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Section 907.05. Manner of Registration, Licensing and Renewal. 17 <br /> 18 <br />1. Initial application for license of property which is not licensed as residential rental property on 19 <br />the effective date of this Section, or for licensed residential rental property when there is a change 20 <br />in type of occupancy, shall be made by personally filing an application for license with the City 21 <br />before the property is used as residential renta l property or before use as a new type of 22 <br />occupancy. 23 <br />2. If there is a change in the type of occupancy from the type stated on the registration statement, a 24 <br />new registration statement and license will be required. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Section 907.06. Method and Manner of Certification. Upon receipt of an initial application, the City 27 <br />shall forward a copy to the compliance officer, who sh all then perform an inspection of the property to 28 <br />determine whether such property complies with the provisi ons of applicable rules, standards, statutes and 29 <br />ordinances. The compliance officer shall make a report thereon. No license shall be issued if the premises 30 <br />and building do not fully comply with all the provisions of the applicable rules, standards, statutes and 31 <br />ordinances which pertain to such dwelling units. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Section 907.07. License Exemption s . 34 <br />1. The owner of a rental Dwelling Unit is exempted fr om the license requirement of this section if 35 <br />all renters of the Dwelling Unit are related to the owner as a parent, child, sibling, grandparent, 36 <br />grandchild, step-parent, step-child, step-grandparent, or step-grandchild and the owner files an 37 <br />affidavit with the City stating that each of the renters are one of these relations . The owner must 38 <br />notify the City in writing within 30 days if the exemption described in this section Section 39 <br />907.07(1) is lost because the renters are not relat ed to the owner as one of the above-referenced 40 <br />relations 41 <br /> 42 <br />2.
