GRASS LAKE WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION -OCTOBER 16, 2008 3 <br />B-2 Financial Report <br />The Board acknowledged receipt of the financial report in the new reporting <br />format. Aichinger noted that fund balances were not rolled over but will be in the <br />next report. <br />C. Invoices <br />Maloney recommended payment of the following invoices received, noting the first <br />NATURE cost-share recipient for a rain garden. The amount of $10,000 was set aside <br />for this year. The remainder will be carried over to next year. <br />1. Barr Engineering Inv. #UAA 23/62-946 $ 780.95 <br />Billing period June 14-July 11, 2008 <br />2. Mona Hoffman, 4430 Churchill St., Shoreview <br />Recipient of NATURE Cost-Share Assistance Program $ 600.00 <br />Total: $2,937.90 <br />Stark asked what the NATURE cost-share would be for a business. Aichinger responded that up <br />to $30,000 could be allowed. <br />Eckman stated that the primary focus of the program is for residents, although a business could <br />be considered. <br />Aichinger suggested revising the procedure for Board approval so there is opportunity to address <br />any question that may arise after the project is done. <br />Stark stated that the infrequency of Board meetings could be a problem for granting application <br />approvals. He requested a review of the minutes to clarify the Board's intent regarding the <br />NATURE Cost-Share Assistance Program and consideration of the approval process. <br />Mogg moved payment approval of the four listed invoices above. Eckman seconded. <br />Ayes-3 Nays-0. <br />D. Other Business <br />D-1 Highway 49 Reconstruction <br />Maloney reported that Ramsey County is programming reconstruction of Highway 49 <br />from County Road J to County Road B.
