March 23, 2010 City Hall <br />Present: Mario Hernandez, Thelma McKenzie, Liz Jaeger, Gary Grefenberg <br />The date for the event has been set for May 27 at the Roseville Skating Center. <br />Focus/Frame of the event: <br />MN Dept of HR -how people can connect human rights with their work <br />Roseville HR -what our HR Commission does, how we do it, how we support <br />others. <br />Timeline: <br />Invite/Establish guest speakers -Mario, Liz <br />Contact other commissions and encourage them to recruit others/ Find out if other commissions <br />have contact lists that they are willing/able to share -Thelma <br />Refreshments -Thelma <br />Mailing of invitations -target date April 15; follow-up on May 15; phone calling on May 11 <br />(Mario will write up the script), i.e. email, letter, calls <br />• 5:00-5:30 -Light refreshments and networking <br />5:30-8:00 -speakers and discussion/sharing <br />Miscellaneous: <br />*plan for powerpoint if needed <br />*Mario will bring self-supporting (canners <br />*contact Roseville Review (Mario has graphics we can use) <br />*Request that Carolyn put the event in the May/June issue of our City News <br />publication (ask Carolyn about the deadline so Mario can send her the graphics) <br />Next Visions of Success subcommittee meeting: Apri18, 6:30-7:30, Aspen Room, <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />
