School district redevelopment at Owasso/Western/Dale <br />The City of Roseville recently received a completed .application from the Roseville <br />School District to develop their vacant property south of Lake Owasso. Thin. <br />.development will consisf of a mixture of single-family residential, townhomes, park <br />land, and private open space. A sketch plan of this proposal. was reviewed by <br />Roseville's Planning Commission on January 11, 1995. More detailed plans will be <br />reviewed the Planning .Commission on February 8, 1995. A .presentation will be .made <br />to the board by representatives of the school district under the hearings and petitions <br />portion of this meeting's agenda. <br />b. CountyRoad. C pathway project <br />Roseville has received an ISTEA grant to construct a pathway from Cleveland Avenue <br />to Rice. Street. That portion of the. pathway east of Hamline Avenue..lies within <br />GLWMO. Final construction plans are currently being reviewed by MnDOT. Tt is <br />expected that a contract for this work will be awarded in March and that work will <br />.begin .approximately May 15, 1995. Construction. of this. pathway will not .change <br />existing drainage patterns. The final plans include provisions for erosion control <br />during construction. <br />2. New developments/projects within Shoreview ai~ecting GLWMO <br />a. Attached is a memo. from David Ahrens describing the new developments and projects <br />that affect GLWIVIO. <br />
