- Roseville's proposed ordinance goes further than DNR requirements and , <br />controls activities around all water. bodies including lakes, .wetlands, and <br />storm water ponds. <br />2. Maloney. of Shoreview .reported on new developments within Shoreview <br />affecting the GLWMO. These projects include Snail Lake Park, the Gramsie <br />RoadlMcKubin Street/ Suzanne Avenue street reconstruction project, Rainbow <br />Foods development at the .northwest corner of T. H. 49 and T. H: 96, and the <br />beluxe Check addition. <br />The Board asked. if the trail to be constructed through the Grass Lake Open <br />Space as part of the Gramsie Road project would be paved. Maloney indicated <br />that he majority of the trail would be gravel, but portions. ofthe trail near <br />Gramsie Road would be paved: <br />The Board requested clarification regarding the wetland mitigation proposed as <br />part of the Rainbow Foods proposal. Maloney stated that Rainbow Foods plans <br />to apply a mitigation scheme approved under the interim rules of the Wetland <br />Conservation Act that requires a one to onereplacement of filled wetlands. <br />Maloney indicated that. the new replacement wetlands will be constructed on- <br />ste as part of a multi-pond stormwater treatment system. <br />B. MPCA permit to Ramsey County for the reconstruction of County Road F from <br />Lexington Avenue to Victoria Street. <br />2. Water Bi1lBoard -This newsletter from the Board of Water and Soil <br />Resources (BWSR) is a brief update on legislative issues regarding water <br />quality. <br />Martin commented that the SRF loans available for septic tank upgrades is good <br />information to pass on to residents. <br />3. Letter from Randall J. Anhorn, limnologist with the Metropolitan Council <br />inviting GLWMO to participate in the Metropolitan Council's Citizen-Assisted <br />.Lake Monitoring Program.. <br />4. Letter from Jim Theurer of Ramsey County inviting GLWMO to participate in <br />the development of Ramsey County's 15-year strategic plan. <br />2 <br />
