Steve Sarkozy 3 March 12,1997 <br />Part 2 <br />Adopt a resolution supporting the following: <br />• The placement of buoys marking the 150 foot distance from shore at the public <br />boat launch and at the southeast corner of the lake in approximately the same <br />location as the summer of 1996. <br />• The placement of signage at the public boat launch, including ordinance <br />requirements, new laws, and DNR map. <br />• The City of Roseville investigate funding additional water patrol by the Ramsey <br />County Sheriff. <br />• Providing for public comment at hearings for permits on the lake and procedures <br />for recording unresolved complaints. <br />• That the City of Roseville will not approve any requests for a slalom course in <br />the southwest end of the lake. <br />• Provide for education about the new ordinance and relevant State laws by <br />mailings to property owners on the lake, articles in the City Newsletter, and/or <br />handouts for distribution at the public boat launch. <br />Part 3 <br />Seek additional comment and consider further the following: <br />• Contribute to the cost of the goose harvesting program on the lake. <br />• Request Ramsey County Board to delay the abandonment of the well on the <br />north end of Lake Owasso to determine if it should be kept for replenishing the <br />lake at times of low water levels. <br />• Seek direction and comment from Ramsey County and Lake Owasso <br />Association regarding the control of purple loose strife and other aquatic <br />nuisance plants. <br />• Consider an ordinance providing for slake-wide no wake zone on Lake Owasso <br />if a certain high water level occurs. <br />• Consider a Lake Committee representing all Roseville lakes. <br />
