Anyone who is <br />overwhelmingly curious can ask Lyndon. <br />Shelley Shelley discussed the boat event on the Harriet Bishop which was hosted by MNRRA Also, the St. <br />Paul Neighborhood Consortium has two demonstration sites of alternative landscaping for water quality <br />improvement: Battle Creek Elementary School and Phalen Park <br />Deb & Marie The Watershed exhibit is slated to be at the Uptown Art Fair at the Lagoon between Calhoun and <br />Isles on Sunday August 1st. Members of the Minneapolis Water Quality Education Advisory Committee will staff <br />the exhibit. <br />Tracy Table 1 of the exhibit is currently being modified. Also, if Partners are using the Shed at an event <br />where they cannot set-up on grass, the Minnesota Valley Refuge has a tent which can be borrowed <br />Lyndon Andrea from CGEE has decided to follow her dreams to Oregon. Her position has been filled by <br />Suzanne Sivanick, who will assume Andrea's responsibilities as the official Watershed Exhibit scheduling <br />coordinator. Welcome Suzanne! <br />The scheduling team has concluded that the Shed exhibit would be best utilized during the winter <br />months of October through February by seeking indoor venues such as malls, libraries, and schools for one or two <br />week long blocks of time. Partners who would like the Shed for a specific date during the winter months should <br />request dates during July. <br />g- nee g <br />The strategic planning verbiage was amended to the following: <br />The Watershed <br />Goa[: The visitor to the Watershed will leave with the knowledge of what a watershed is, an understanding of <br />their personal connections to their watershed, and the motivation to act in support of a healthy watershed. <br />1-3 Year Goals <br />While: Remaining ad hoc, flexible, welcoming new partners, raising funds for projects, maintaining strong <br />professional relationships, maintaining and coordinating the Shed... <br />We Will Number of votes <br />1. work on a metro-wide media campaign 8 <br />2. evaluate our programs 4 <br />3. educate to the next level (lifestyle connections) 5 <br />4. make group purchases 2 <br />5. increase use of the Shed (more events -training) 6 <br />6. expand outreach programs (speakers, a-mail, stenciling...) 4 <br />7. expand beyond metro 0 <br />8. complete handbook 4 <br />9. develop more teaching tools (e.g. modules) 0 <br />10. recruit more Partners in the metro area 3 <br /> Total = 36 (12 voters @ 3 votes each ) <br />The Partners voted as to which of the 1-3 year goals were candidates for action plans.
