The study differentiates population with proximity to the ,lake (upper <br />watershed vs. lower watershed). She is interested in comparing the results with other surveyinformation <br />that Partners may have.:A follow-up survey will be conducted after the completion of the Districts five year ' <br />water quality implementation plan. - ~ ~- - ~ ~ '~ <br />~ Lyndon Lyndon reminded Partners of the Phalen wetland restoration planting~on September 13 and of <br />the need for additional volunteers. ' <br />~ Ron On October 2, MNRRA will host a meeting for interested participants in the American Heritage <br />River Initiative nomination. A survey conducted after the completion <br />of the project indicated change over the past two years. Tina will bring the results to a future meeting: <br />~ Marie 8 Anne Minneapolis and St. Paul Public Works received a TCQI grant to cover materials and <br />printing for catch basin stencil slickers. A test batch will be printed this fall. <br />W Deb The construction of the Southwest Calhoun Wetland has been delayed from 1997 to 1998 due <br />to engineering for the project. <br />~ John The Rivers Council of Minnesota is hosting a free conference on September 19 and 20 in <br />Moorehead. <br />Use Of the Watershed Exhibit <br />Shelley used the exhibit at the St. Paul Classic Bike Tour. About 5000 riders participated in the event and an <br />estimated 1000 of those interacted with the Watershed exhibit. Shelley said that people are not responding to <br />the pledge cards. Suzanne reported that the exhibit is scheduled into October. She has started a schedule for <br />next year and some dates are already spoken for.
