CE OF HEARING <br />ON \\IATEH,MAIN Ai'W SANITARY SEHER SERVICES <br />IV.SS.69.25 AND STREET IM1'ROVEt.[;NT 1'.69.26 <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, I-IINNESOTA <br /> <br />Notice is hereby Given that the Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, will meet <br />in the Community Room of Rosedale Center, West Highway 36 and Fairview Avenue North, on <br />the 5th day of March, 1970, at 7;30 o'clock p.m. to hold a public hearing pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed Watermain and Sani tary Sewer <br />Services \\1-55.69.25 all\.! Street Improvement 1'.69.26 consisting of construction on 1\laddin <br />Street bet\~een Rose Place and 700 feet south of Rose Place to the cul-de.sac dead end. <br />Watermain construction is proposed to consist of a 6" diameter watermain and all necessary <br />appurtenances includin~ services, valves and hydrants to serve the abutting property on <br />either side of the street right.of.\Vay. <br /> <br />Sani tary sc\...er construction is proposed to consist of the furnishing and installation of <br />service connections to the existing sanitary sewer line on Aladdin Street, to serve the <br />abutting property on the west side of the street right-of.way. <br /> <br />Street construction \vould consist of the J?:radinp; of Aladdin Street, together with the <br />const ruction of concrete curb and gutter along both sides of the roadway throughout its <br />entire length followed by the installation of sub-base and a 2 inch plant.mixed bituminous <br />surfacing. The width between curbs face to face would be 32 feet. Also included as part of <br />the street construction is the construction of approximately 150 feet of storm sewers and <br />necessary manholes and catch basins, which are nccess ary to provide proper drainage for <br />the street. <br /> <br />The entire foregoing proposed construction \wuld complete proposed improvements W-SS-69-25 <br />and P.69.26, along presently platted but unimproved Aladdin Street between Rose Place and <br />approximately 700 feet south of Rose P lace to the cul.de-sac dead end. The foregoing is <br />all substantially in accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now on file <br />and open to public inspection in the office of the Village Manager. <br /> <br />The cost of the improvement is presently estimated at approximately $23,174.00. The area <br />proposed to be assessed for the improvement includes all properties encompassed in the <br />following: <br /> <br />Commencing at the southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of Northeast <br />Quarter (NE1/4) of Section 11, Township 29, Range 23; thence east along the south line <br />of said Quarter Quarter 0/4 1/4) a distance of 660.51 feet, more or less: thence <br />north at right angles 1109 feet, more or less; thence \Vest at right an~les 200 feet; <br />thence north at right angles 185 feet to the south R/l1 line of County Road C; thence <br />west along said R/W 60 feet; thence south at right angles 185 feet; thence west at <br />right angles 175 feet: thence south at right angles 9.51 feet; thence west at right <br />angles 120.06 feet; thence south at right angles 33 feet; thence \vest at right angles <br />104.54 feet; thence south at right angles 1060.79 feet, more or less, to point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />All persons deSiring to be heard with reference to the improveMent and the area proposed <br />to be assessed therefor may appear and be heard by the Vi 11 age Counei 1 at the time and <br />place stated above. <br /> <br />Dated: February 16, 1970. <br /> <br />
