Mr. Raymond, Village Manager, indicated that he had received a
written communication from Mr. Carl H. Anderson, 2135 Roselawn
Avenue West and also a copy of an agreenent between Mr. Anderson and
Benjamin Huising of 1944 Rosedale Drive relating to the construction
of a street and assessments. The agreement was considered not to be
a legal document by the Council.

!VlR. CARL 11. MARTINDELL, 2126 s. Rosewood Lane: Asked if a
notice of the hearing had been sent to the owner of the 25 foot strip
of property immediately adjacent to his property. Said that he does
not abut on the improvements and, therefore, doesn't believe he
should be assessed. He also pointed out that this improvement
construction would make another corner property within 120 feet of
another corner property which would then give 6 directions of traffic
--two each way on each of the three streets--within a space of 120
feet. He indicated there are many children living in this area and
he thought the matter of safety should be considered. Strongly
opposed to the improvement.

MR. O~~N HALLBERG, 2110 s. Rosewood Lane: Asked if he would
only be assessed for the 125 feet on the west side of his property
for curb and gutter inasmuch as he has already paid assessments on
sewer and water on Rosewood Lane.
