<br />The Council also directed the Village Public Works Director <br />to determine the estimated cost of the improvement, and whether <br />such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost <br />estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council and <br />are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the <br />office of the Village Manager. The improvement proposed to be <br />made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated <br />as Ornamental Street Lighting Improvement Project No. P-70-9. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the Village Hall, 2701 North <br />Lexington, on May 25, 1970, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. for the purpose <br />of holding a public hearing on the proposed improvement under <br />and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, <br />as amended, and the Village Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of that <br />meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, SUbur- <br />ban Sun, which publications shall be a week apart, and the <br />second publication shall be not less than three days before the <br />date of the hearing. Pursuant to M.S. 429.031, Subdivision 1, <br />notice shall also be mailed to the owner of each parcel within <br />the area proposed to be assessed not less than 10 days prior <br />to such hearing. <br /> <br />3.
