AGREEMENT <br />An agreement dated this day of April, 1995, among the City of St. Paul, <br />hereinafter `Saint Paul"; the City of Roseville, hereinafter "Roseville"; and the County of <br />Ramsey, hereinafter "Ramsey". <br />WITNESSETH: <br />Whereas, Roseville has need of dispatching services for its fire emergency calls; and <br />Whereas, Saint Paul has within its Department of Fire and Safety Services a seven day-a- <br />week 24 hour-a-day fire emergency dispatching service; and <br />Whereas, Ramsey is now providing 911 emergency services for Roseville; now therefore <br />IT IS AGREED among the parties as follows: <br />1.) That this agreement shall take effect and be in force April 17, 1995 and may be <br />renewed as herein provided. <br />2.) That Ramsey will continue to be the primary Public Safety Answer Point (PSAP) <br />for Roseville, excepting that as to all requests for fire emergency services, such <br />requests will be transferred to Saint Paul's Fire Emergency Dispatch Center. <br />3.) That Saint Paul will, in turn, notify Roseville's Fire Department via a telephone <br />paging system that Roseville presently has in place. <br />4.) That Saint Paul will also undertake all fire ground communications during the <br />course of any of Roseville's fire responses. <br />5.) That Roseville will also furnish any back-up communication to its telephone <br />paging system to Saint Paul as it may have available. <br />6. ) That Roseville will in calendar year 1995 pay to Saint Paul for its services $68.49 <br />per day or $2,883.33 per month within 30 days after Saint Paul's submission of <br />an invoice. <br />7.) That in subsequent calendar years, Roseville will pay to Saint Paul $25,000.00 <br />per year for its services in quarterly installments due on or before the last days <br />of March, June, September and December. If more than 1,000 fire calls are <br />dispatched by Saint Paul via its Fire Emergency Communications Center in any <br />year, Roseville will remit to Saint Paul $25.00 for each additional call billed for <br />payment along with the quarterly payment in the first quarter of the following <br />year. <br />8. ) That in addition to the foregoing remuneration, Roseville shall also remit to Saint <br />
