AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS AND EVP SYSTEMS AGREEMENT N0. PW2001-04 Est. Cost City of Roseville Construction Cost $39,248.00 Engineering & Inspection 2 354.88 TOTAL $41, 602.88 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the County of Ramsey, Department of Public Works, hereinafter referred to as the "County," and the City of Roseville hereinafter referred to as the "City", for the reconstruction and maintenance of traffic control signal system with street lights, signs, interconnect and emergency vehicle pre-emption at the intersection of County Road B and Victoria Street; WTTNESSETH: WHEREAS, the County has determined that there is justification and it is in the public's best interest to reconstruct traffic control signals with street lights and signs on County Road B(County State Aid Highway No. 25); at Victoria Street (County State Aid Highway No. 52); and WHEREAS, the City requested and the County agrees to provide an Emergency Vehicle Pre- emption System, hereinafter referred to as the "EVP System" as a part of said traffic control signals in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, construction cost of the traffic control signals with street lights, signs, interconnect and emergency vehicle pre-emption will be shared between the County and the City in accordance with the terms and conditions hereafter set forth; and WHEREAS, there e�sts in full force and effect cooperative signal Agreement 87002, County Board Resolution 87-281 dated May 11, 1987 entered into by and between the County and the City to share the cost, maintenance and operation of the traffic control signal with street lights, signs and EVP system at the intersection of County Road B and Victoria Street; and WHEREAS, the traffic signal revision at County Road B and Victoria Street is part of a larger plan, S.A.P. 62-625-22, MS.A.S. 160-251-01, which includes construction of geometrics, mill and overlay and concrete repair on County Road B between State Farm Road and Sandhurst Drive; and WHEREAS, the County and City will participate in the maintenance and operation of said traffic control signals with street lights, signs, interconnect and EVP system as hereinafter set forth. NOW, TI�REFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: 1.
