Shoreview and Roseville engineers shall certify the date of substantial completion for the portion of the joint project located in their respective city. 5.0 Definitions. A. "Owasso Boulevard West Reconstruction Project" means the reconstruction of that portion of Owasso Boulevard West lying between North Owasso Boulevard and Victoria Street including grading, bituminous paving of street and pathways, installation of concrete curb and gutter, installation of storm sewer pipe and catch basins, turf reestablishment and landscaping, and utility adjustments. B. "Storm Water Ponding Project" means the acquisition, enlargement, and improvement of storm water ponds and sedimentation ponds which are required to collect, treat and convey all or some of the surface water runoff from the Owasso Boulevard West Reconstruction Project and surrounding areas. C. "Combined Projects" means the Owasso Boulevard West Reconstruction Project and the Storm Water Ponding Project. 6.0 Terms and Conditions. In consideration of the mutual undertakings herein expressed, the parties agree as follows: A. Project Desi�n. Shoreview and Roseville shall prepare plans and specifications for those portions of the Combined Projects which are located within each City's corporate boundary. Each City's plans and specifications shall be combined for purposes of preparing bid documents and advertising for bids. B. Advertisement for Bids. Roseville shall advertise for and receive bids for the combined projects. Roseville shall provide Shoreview with a copy of the bid tabulations. C. Contract Award. Upon receipt of the bid tabulations, the Shoreview engineer shall confer with the Roseville engineer and concur in the recommendation of the award of bid to the lowest responsible bidder. Each City Council shall approve of the recommendation prior to the award of a contract. Contract sha11 be let by the City of Roseville. 2
