The request is also consistent with past practice including the naming of the <br />Harriet Alexander Nature Center and the Marie Slawik Area of Central Park. <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br />None. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the policy and the recommendations of the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission, the Central Park Foundation and the requests of family and friends <br />to honor her wishes, the staff recommends that the Arboretum be named the <br />Roseville Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion officially naming the Arboretum as the Roseville Central Park Muriel <br />Sahlin Arboretum. <br />
