Financial Imulications: <br />The total cost to the City for the premium will not exceed�862,180 for 2002. Staff anticipates a lower annual <br />premium as about half of the employees expressed interest in the Deductible/80% Plan. In addition, the <br />employee contribution offsets the City's costs. The plan will cost an additional $50,000 to $100,000 more in <br />2002. Sufficient funds are available to cover these costs in 2002. <br />Council Action Requested: <br />Motion Authorizing the City Manager to Sign an Agreement with HealthPartners for the Provision of Employee <br />Health Insurance of the Period from January 1, 2002 to December 3 l, 2002. <br />
