CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 106 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, ESTABLISHING CITY DEPARTMENTS <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 106 is deleted in its entirety and the following is adopted: <br />106.01 City Manager. All Deparhnents and personnel of the Citv shall be subject to the <br />control and direction of a City Manager, who shall be appointed by the Council in accordance <br />with state law. The City Manager shall responsible to the Council for the proper administration <br />of all matters relating to the City and shall have the powers and duties specified in state law and <br />as dele atg ed bv ordinance, resolution or other action of the Council. <br />106.02 Cit�,Departments. The City shall have the following Departments: <br />Administration <br />Community Development <br />Finance <br />Fire <br />Parks and Recreation <br />Police <br />Public Works <br />106.03 Administration. The Administration Department shall include the City Mana er, <br />Assistant CitY Manager, City Clerk, and other personnel. The Administration Department is <br />res�onsible for mana�ement, human resources, election administration, and communications <br />activities. The Mana�er shall be responsible for the �erformance of all duties assi�ned bv law to <br />the cit. c� lerk. <br />106.04 Communitv Development. The Communitv Development De�artment shall be under the <br />direction of the Cit�ManagLr and Communit�Development Director and is responsible for '" <br />community plannin�, land use, economic development, housing�and related programs• <br />
