Rule 17 — Travel <br />All out-of-state travel by staff members <br />or elected officials shall require prior <br />City Council approval. The City Council <br />shall receive a written or verbal report <br />upon the return of the staff member or <br />elected official. <br />All in-state travel, training, or <br />conferenoes billed to the City by staff <br />members or elected officials, including <br />costs, shall be reported to the City <br />Council on a cumulative ongoing basis <br />Rule 17 — Travel <br />Proposed Change: Ail officiai out-of- <br />state travel by ele�ted officials shall <br />require prior City Council approval. All costs associated <br />with the out-of-state travel, training, or <br />conferences by Council members shall <br />be reported to the city council quarterly <br />on a cumulative basis. <br />Proposed Change. Delete rule and <br />direct City Manager to submit a report <br />to the Council the will summarize all <br />out-of-state and all in-state travef, <br />training, or conferences billed to the <br />City by staff members, including costs, <br />shall be reported to the City Council <br />quarterly on a cumulative ongoing <br />basis. <br />� <br />
