MII�INESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 103 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />CONCERNING CITY ELECTIONS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVII,LE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 103.01 A. of the Roseville City Code is amended to read: <br />A. Election Date Figed: The city general election shall be held on the fiCSf <br />Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each g�} e�^eri numbered <br />year, beginning with the 2006 election. <br />SECTION 2. Section 103.02 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read: <br />103.02: <br />A <br />MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TERMS: <br />ThEn�em� of office for mayor and council members shall be four (4) years. <br />B. Transition to Even Year Elections: The terms of the MaYOr and Councilmember who will <br />be elected at the 2003 CitV election shall end the first business dav of January, 2007 and <br />those offices will be tilled at the 2006 City election. The terms of the Councilmembers who <br />were elected at the 2001 CitV election shall end on the first business dav of lanuarY. 2006 <br />and those offices will be filled at a CitV election in 2005. <br />C. Transition for Councilmember Election Cvcle: At the 2005 CitV election the hvo council <br />candidates ieCeivlII� the most votes shall serve three (3) year terms and the council candidate <br />receivin� the thud most votes shall serve a one ( 11 vear term. <br />ADOPTED this day of <br />ATTEST: <br />Neal J.
