Effectiveness <br />. Recycling Survey - 74% get information about recycling services from the <br />Roseville Wrap. Other resources for information were the recycling company <br />at 26% and other newspapers at 21%. (Respondents checked all that applied.) <br />. 1998 Survey — 8 1% read the resident newsletter regularly; 82% rated the <br />paper effective or somewhat effective <br />. Citizens' Academy — 9 of 22 participants heard about the Citizens' Academy <br />through the Roseville Wrap <br />. 7uly/August 2001 registering/voting article: City received more than 40 calls <br />about registering to vote. <br />• Sept/Oct 2001 buy three get one round free golf coupon at Cederholm: <br />Appro�mately 50 people redeemed the coupon. The Golf Course <br />Superintendent said this was the highest response rate of any other print <br />advertising that they had ever done. <br />. January/February 2002 recycling article: recycling coordinator ca11 volume <br />doubled. <br />. Jan/Feb 2002 radon testing article: tied to a Ramsey County campaign with <br />reduced price home testing kits for Roseville residents. The Wrap arrived in <br />homes beginning Dec 29. In the first three working days after that, the <br />County received more than 30 orders for radon testing kits. By the end of <br />7anuary, the County had received orders for nearly 500 kits meeting -- its goal <br />for the entire three-month program. <br />. March/April 2002 compost bin article. 280 residents ordered bins. Last year <br />Ramsey County paid for a direct mailing to advertise two sales. Only 243 <br />residents ordered a bin that year. � <br />
