City of Roseville 2002 Referendum Public Works What is the need: ✓ Not enough room for equipment. If equipment is stored properly the life life of equipment can be extended by up to three times compared to when it is stored outdoors. ✓ Salt and sand storage area does not meet state and federal requirements. ✓ Sa1t and sand storage area is too small and is open to the elements. As a result Roseville can- not store large quantites of salt and sand and pays higher prices. Also the open piles can have run off of material. ✓ City keeps repair costs low by doing repai rs internally. However the bays are too small, do not have a truck lift, have inadequate ventilation, and the welding area is non-compliant. ✓ Public Works building was not designed to meet the needs of female or disabled staff inembers. To vote you must be: . At least 18 years of age . A United States citizen . A Roseville resident for 20 days prior to the election Absentee Ballots Applications for absentee ballots may be picked up in person at City Hall Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., or by calling 65 1-490-2209 to have an application mailed to you. Roseville City Hall is at the corner of Le�ngton and County Road C. It will be open the Saturday before the election from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Monday before the election until 5 p.m. for absentee voting.
