City of Roseville 2002 Referendum <br />Public Works <br />What is the need: <br />✓ Not enough room for equipment. If equipment is stored properly the life life of equipment can <br />be extended by up to three times compared to when it is stored outdoors. <br />✓ Salt and sand storage area does not meet state and federal requirements. <br />✓ Sa1t and sand storage area is too small and is <br />open to the elements. As a result Roseville can- <br />not store large quantites of salt and sand and pays <br />higher prices. Also the open piles can have run <br />off of material. <br />✓ City keeps repair costs low by doing repai rs <br />internally. At least 18 years of age <br />. A United States citizen <br />. A Roseville resident for 20 days prior to the <br />election <br />Absentee Ballots <br />Applications for absentee ballots may be picked up in <br />person at City Hall Monday through Friday 8 a.m. <br />until 4 p.m., or by calling 65 1-490-2209 to have an <br />application mailed to you. <br />Roseville City Hall is at the corner of Le�ngton and <br />County Road C. It will be open the Saturday before <br />the election from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Monday <br />before the election until 5 p.m. for absentee voting. <br />
