A. <br />OrdinancesiResolutions <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE Ai�'IENDING CHAPTER 106 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, ESTABLISHING CITY DEPARTi�'IENTS <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 106 is deleted in its entirety and the following is adopted: <br />106.01 Citv Mana,�er. All Denartments and nersonnel of the Citv shall be subiect to the <br />control and direction of a Citv Mana�er. who shall be avuointed bv the Council in accordance <br />with state law. The Citv Mana�er shall fbel resnonsible to the Council for the UrOper <br />administration of all matters relatin� to the Citv and shall have the nowers and duties specified in <br />state law and as delegated bv ordinance. resolution or other action of the Council. <br />106.02 Citv Denartments. The Citv shall have the followin�Departments: <br />Administration <br />Communitv Develonment <br />Finance <br />Fire <br />Parks and Recreation <br />Police <br />Public Works <br />106.03 Administration. The Administration Denartment shall include the Citv Mana�� <br />Assistant Citv Mana�er. Citv Clerk. and other nersonneL The Administration De�artment is <br />responsible for mana�ement. human resources. election administration, and communications <br />activities. The Mana�er shall be responsible for the performance of all duties assi�ned bv law to <br />the citv clerk. <br />106.04 Communitv Develo�ment. The Communitv Develo�ment De�artment shall be under the <br />direction of the Citv Mana�er and Communitv Development Director and is responsible for <br />communitv t�lannin�, land use, economic development. housin�f, building codel and related <br />pro�rams. <br />
