B. <br />� <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 30th day of September, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />following members were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution No <br />and the <br />A Resolution of the City of Roseville City Council Supporting the <br />Work and Build Out Growth Study of the I-35W Corridor Coalition <br />Supporting Transit and Mixed Use Design Concepts <br />WHEREAS, the North Metro I-35W Corridor Coalition is a Joint Powers <br />Authority comprised of the cities of Arden Hills, Blaine, Circle Pines, Mounds <br />View, New Brighton, Roseville and Shoreview, and Ramsey County, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Coalition has completed a study (the Build Out Study) of <br />future growth scenarios and the potential impacts of each scenario, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Coalition desires to mitigate the impacts of anticipated <br />growth in the member cities while providing for economic growth and individual <br />city initiatives, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Build Out Study demonstrates the value of incorporating <br />transit supportive and mixed use design concepts in development and <br />redevelopment efforts, and, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Roseville City Council and the North Metro I- <br />35W Corridor Coalition Board of Directors have received and considered the <br />findings, conclusions and recommendations from the Build Out Study, <br />
