Summary of Twin Lakes Redevelopment Master Plan <br />Council Actions <br />November 2000 — Focus Group Meetings held regarding Twin Lakes Master Plan land <br />use options with Langton Lake neighborhood, property owners, public funding agencies <br />and area developers. <br />December 2000 �- Public hearing regarding amendment to the comprehensive plan for <br />Twin Lakes. <br />January 8, 2001 - City Council approved a master plan concept for the Twin Lakes <br />Business Park, which constituted a conceptual comprehensive plan amendment to the <br />Twin Lakes Master Plan. <br />February 12, 2001 - City Council directed staff to complete contracts for the Twin Lakes <br />AUAR study by two consulting firms, DSU and SRF. <br />February 24, 2001 - City Council directed staff to officially commence the Twin Lakes <br />AUAR study of the recommended "concept — scenario 1" and "retail scenario — <br />scenario lA" amendment to the Comprehensive Plan for Twin Lakes using the services <br />of consultants SRF and DSU. <br />May 7, 2001 - City of Roseville completed and filed the AUAR for Twin Lakes with the <br />Environmental Quality Board (EQB) for publication on May 14 for a required 30 day <br />comment period that expired on June 13, 2001. <br />June 26, 2001 - City Council approved the final amendment of the Comprehensive Plan <br />for the Twin Lakes Business Park area from "Business" and "Industrial" to "Business <br />Park" as described in the Twin Lakes Master Plan and as amended by Council with the <br />Scenario #1 and the City Council accepted the findings of the AUAR and Mitigation Plan <br />for the Twin Lakes Business Park. <br />July 23, 2001— City Council approved submittal of Livable Communities Planning <br />Grant for the purpose of updated the Twin Lakes Parkway Infrastructure Plan, Prepare <br />more detailed financial analysis, conduct limited appraisal of Twin Lakes Parkway <br />properties, prepare design plans and develop a design manual to assist in the PUD <br />process. <br />August 13, 2001— City Council Approve the final AUAR and Mitigation Plan with no <br />further comment from the Environmental Quality Board. <br />November 14, 2001— Met Council awarded planning grant to the City of Roseville in the <br />amount of $75,000. <br />\\Victoria\CommDev\Planning Files�3200-3249�3232_TwinI.akesRenewedPlanUtP Proposal�Summary of Twin Lakes Redevelopment <br />Master Plan Actions.doc <br />
