MAYOR LINEBARGER: That road curves away from his lot.
How far would that be?

MR. HONCHELL: You mean the so-called curve, or the center
line of the road? The center line would be 50 or 60 feet away
but the edge of the road would probably be 25 or 30 feet from
the edge of his property perhaps. That would be the edge of
the asphalt and the edge of his property.

MAYOR LINEBARGER: That's the closest point?

COUNCILMAN BRENNAN: Would the road be 6 feet above?

MR. HONCHELL: Three or four feet differential because
there would be fill to better match the terrain and that would
be 3 to 4 feet and that area where there would be a problem is
(inaudible) .

MAYOR LINEBARGER: If it was not built in that position,
you say there would be a cut bank further down and the road
would be quite a bit lower further down.

MR. JEPPESEN: I also own II, 12, and l3 and I was told
when I called up if I stood out by my back walkout basement and
I could look straight out, the road would be even with my
eyes and I think I showed you how high that would be '. That would
be about my (inaudible) level at the top of my basement. I
don~t know how they think they can come up Victoria with a bend
in the road, plus I don't know where you will be putting all
that snow on that road because I don't think you're going to
be hauling it all away and I will have all that water. I
had a sewer put in in 1964 because I had about 6 to 8 feet
deep of water around my property because that was coming in
like you had on the beginning of your session this evening,
but I'm glad you put the drain in - I don't have water any
more but I don't know where you're going to put the snow.
If you put the road through I'll have water problems again
from the drain off in the spring.

MRS. JUNE JEPPESON, 2203 N. Victoria: I also feel if
they're going to put the road through and we pay assessments
on three lots, we might as well give them the land and I don't
feel anyone living on this property should just give three
lots away because that's what the assessments will cost us
for that road.

MAYOR LINEBARGER: Had you thought of developing those
lots? The value, of course, would increase considerably when
there is a road in.
