signals at that location. coming from the east, headed
westbound, the left turn provision would be on that side of
the center line of the median crossing over. We're
proposing at the Williams Bros. pipeline for some control
at their entrances, and here again there's ~mother driveway
with a left turn pocket here, and the property to the
south would have a left turn-in pocket with option (in-
audible) an opening here, and proceeding on east through here
we have left these various holes in the median at the
Briggs two main entrances and we have tried to control
the turning movements here. This would be adjusted if it
would be better to serve the property in some other manner.

As we approach the railroad track we have added an
outside lane for the transport trucks to come to a stop at
the railroad crossing outside the lane of traffic, proceed
across and they lose the lane again. Similarly we've
added a lane here so they can come to a stop out of the
traffic lane at the railroad and proceed and then get into
the regular traffic lane again.

At Long Lake Road, we have a full set of signals In
there - new signals proposed. We would just take the
existing median there and extend it a little bit, and we
have a left turn pocket there - little widening of the road.
Going back, each (inaudible) may be 75 to 100 feet to get
the intersection fixed up and then as we approach the
bridges - the bridges are about here - the ramp where you
go west and come south (inaudible) turns out and comes
(inaudible) here and this would be essentially the end of
our improvement on County Road C.

We carry the project on over to Cleveland Avenue because
at Cleveland we have three legs of this intersection with
the new signal system without having the south leg (in-
audible) and widening and (inaudible) for a left turn
provision to southbound, two northbound and left turn
pocket here and right from the railroad track essentially
to the intersection to make the signals fully capable of
performing their function out there.

The plan that we have here tonight is referred to
probably as a preliminary plan. If you look at this plan
closely, it will indicate through this area here - needs
for additional right-of-way width. It's our intention to
gain approval of this plan if it meets the community's
needs, to proceed then with the right-of-way acquisition
and then as we work with each property owner associated
with the project we will revise and modify our plans and
include their requirements within the plan. So hopefully
next fall we can come in with a construction plan to
present to the Council for approval, so what we're looking
for is the approval of the alignment and grades so to
speak, along with the (inaudible) that our initial intent
is to go out and acquire additional right-of-way that

3
