catch basin that's already there? Then there's also one on this
side.

MR. HONCHELL: That goes toward the pond.

MR. THOMPSON: (Inaudible) along Brenner here, how is that -
the people putting the road in here on Brenner - are they putting
in storm sewer now?

MR. HONCHELL: Their drainage goes generally to that small
pond they have. All the back yards on the south drain toward it
and some of the roadway drainage also goes toward it.

MR. THOMPSON: So if they put the blacktop in before this is
approved, then this will not be in existence, that will be taken
out.

MR. HONCHELL: We're hoping a decision will be made tonight
so we can tell them do not put that blacktop in until we can put
the drainage under it.

MR. THOMPSON: If this road is blacktopped or paved, how
will the paving with the curb and gutter - because normally with
property water runs down to the road. That's impossible in our
area. There's no water that could possibly get on to the road
from us - and the curb and gutter with its drainage - these would
have to be done now because there's no way you could put drains
into the road - into the tile without doing it at the same time
without a fantastic expense, is that correct?

MR. HONCHELL: I think our estimate was $40,000.

MR. THOMPSON: That's putting drains down to the tile, say
two years from now you have to rip up the tile again.

MR. HONCHELL: When you say "tile" -

MR. THOMPSON: Well, say "pipe II .

MR. HONCHELL: Either the existing pipe or a new one we
would have to go down through the roadway to that new pipe and
tap into it again.

l2
