MR. KRAMER: Northern States Power chose these locations
to provide light to the whole area, and they feel by placing
the lights in these locations the coverage will be such that
the entire street is covered and, two, they can provide
service to these three poles, so this is actually Northern
states Power.

MRS. LINDIG: Swanson's already have two lights in the
back yard. We keep just individual spot lights on our back
yard because there's a little pool, but Swanson's have the
high lights in their back yard for years - even before they
had the property they were actually put in by Ewald's, but
it's just so much light in that area.

MAYOR DEMOS: Terry I you might tell them how many feet
apart we put these.

MR. KRAMER: The normal criteria is 600 feet apart. This
isn't true because we did have to place them closer together
to provide coverage.

MRS. LINDIG: I think that first one should start farther
down because in part (inaudible) to be the darkest is farther
down - more in the center there, and I'm one who's really a
night owl. I work back at our office until the wee hours so
I'm coming up Shorewood Lane most nights after midnight and
I don't have any problem.

FROM THE AUDIENCE: You do have an automatic garage door
opener.

MRS. LINDIG: yes, that's more of a protection than just
putting a light in.

ANNETTE PHILLIPS, 3084 Shorewood Lane: In regard to the
petition that you received to the negative. I'm not sure how
many signatures Joe has on the section that backs on to Wheeler.
This particular diagram is incorrect because there now is a
street light in the middle of Wheeler, so many of those property
owners in there are baCking on to Wheeler, but their garage
entrances are all on Wheeler where they have quite a bit of
lighting, so I think you should consider that as far as what
names you have on that petition.
