The first alternative would be the placing of a standard street light at Transit and Galtier Circle. This would be the standard light, fed by overhead lines, and put in at no cost to the property owners on Galtier Circle. Should they wish a second light, Alternate 2 could be placed inside the Circle - inside its terminus. This light would have to be an ornamental light, and would be fed by underground power. Again, since there is additional cost in- volved in placing this light, it's proposed that this cost be assessed to the property owners. MR. PETERSON: Here again, with the regular standard light there would be no cost. If you install the ornamental light that was referred to in Alternate 2, the assessment would be a total cost of $21.60 over a twenty year period of time, and there are l3 lots involved. There's an inflation factor that we have to use in a situation like this, so it would work out to be about $39.88 per lot over a 20 year period. COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: That could be paid in one lump sum. COUNCILMAN HESS: What was the $2l.60? MR. PETERSON: That's the difference between a standard and ornamental light. MR. ANDRE: The assessment would be a one-time assessment.
