The first alternative would be the placing of a standard
street light at Transit and Galtier Circle. This would be the
standard light, fed by overhead lines, and put in at no cost
to the property owners on Galtier Circle.

Should they wish a second light, Alternate 2 could be
placed inside the Circle - inside its terminus. This light
would have to be an ornamental light, and would be fed by
underground power. Again, since there is additional cost in-
volved in placing this light, it's proposed that this cost be
assessed to the property owners.

MR. PETERSON: Here again, with the regular standard light
there would be no cost. If you install the ornamental light
that was referred to in Alternate 2, the assessment would be a
total cost of $21.60 over a twenty year period of time, and
there are l3 lots involved. There's an inflation factor that
we have to use in a situation like this, so it would work out
to be about $39.88 per lot over a 20 year period.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: That could be paid in one lump sum.

COUNCILMAN HESS: What was the $2l.60?

MR. PETERSON: That's the difference between a standard
and ornamental light.

MR. ANDRE: The assessment would be a one-time assessment.

MAYOR DEMOS: Are there any communications?

MR. ANDRE: There are none. I don't know if it was pointed
out, but the light on Galtier Circle has to be an ornamental
light because that's wired for underground.

MAYOR DEMOS: And the city would be installing it - that
would be one we would do anyway.

MR. KRAMER: If you so desire, yes.

MAYOR DEMOS: If they want it. At this time I'm going to
open the hearing. Everyone who wishes to speak, come to the
microphone and give your name and address - the first time -
and no second timers until all have spoken first are finished.
