MR. STRONG: This pole could be the core type pole and
(inaudible) such as Shorewood Lane. The pre~ious hearing was
taken care of with the installation charge versus this light
which is the ornamental light that is a higher charge because
it's being served by an underground system - the only way it can
be served. This can be served by overhead or underground.
Northern states Power policy now on this type of pole, if we
request, they could bury it and have the installation charge.
The report does not have that.

MR. ROBERT BELL, City Attorney: You can increase the cost
a little. All the notices - (inaudible) you put in two orna-
mental poles (inaudible) put them in and order them in tonight.
Just a question of another pole - increase the cost and not
adding any more assessment.

MR. PETERSON: I concur.

MR. BELL: You're not adding any more lots.

MR. STRONG: There are two or three lots across the street
that were not sent notices. They do benefit.

MR. BELL: The only people you're going to assess (in-
audible) that didn't get a notice, you would have to send them
a notice. What is the greater assessment (inaudible) from this
to the other.

MR. STRONG: We didn't get a cost from Northern States
Power. They have to go out and do a study on where they're
coming from - where the buried lines are. It (inaudible) cost
to come from a power source, and with the fancier pole - and
we didn't get the cost.

MR, KRAMER: We'd have to go back to Northern States Power
and ask for an additional study and additional cost.

MAYOR DEMOS: The power source is there.

MR. GODFREY: We have all buried cables.

MAYOR DEMOS: This would not be, so that's why they don't
have the cost.
