uminous pavement as you heard in the last hearing. Again, the
the proposed width is 32 feet, and in this case, the roadway
that exists is 29 and 30 feet wide. The so-called straight
up and down gutter is proposed on this one as was discussed
in the last hearing.

The roadway elevations are estimated to be extremely close
to what they are now. It's not anticipated any trees or bushes
will be affected. There may be some minor alterations to
driveway approaches that we discussed at the end of the pre-
vious hearing. The fiscal agent will talk a little more about
costs in rough numbers.

This is about a $30,000 project, and there are approxi-
mately 1000 assessable feet. The reason I bring the numbers
up is because when we go to the next project you will see
why it makes a difference. Peter, why don't you give the
fiscal on this.

MR. POPOVICH: On Improvement 77-20 the published cost
is $32,472.25, but the Public Works Department is looking
over the estimate, worked it down to $29,583.31 - just a
shade under $30,000. The front footage is 966.74 front
feet. If it were assessed at 100%, it would be $30.60 a
front foot. The Public Works Department recommends $7.65 a
foot.- one of the figures to remember. That would bring in
a total of assessments of $7,395.56, and general taxes will
pay the other $22,lB7 to arrive at the $29,583. It's pro-
jected the assessments would be spread over 20 years with
an 8% carrying charge as has been customary, with the right
of prepayment either 30 days after the assessment hearing,
or any time in any year during that 20 year period.

MR. HONCHELL: The second proposal being discussed at
this time is the possible paving of Oxford from Shryer to
what I will call Ryan Avenue South. Those of you in the
area are familiar with the fact that there is a jog in Ryan.
Oxford jogs to the south and continues again to Lexington.
For ease of describing which part of Ryan - we will call this
Ryan North and this one South.

This petition came in shortly after it was known that
Ryan was being petitioned for. This project was requested
