MAYOR DEr~S: Would you call that in place? Let's be
honest.

MR. CAVE: It will be better when we get done putting in
temporary.

r1AYOR DEMOS: It will be better than horrible.
MR. CAVE: lihy didn't we do that (inaudible).

MAYOR DEMOS: Because then you would have messed up the
new street. I heard from the people on Transit the whole time
Roberts was putting in Galtier Circle.

MR. CAVE: Because it was torn up and they were unhappy.

MAYOR DEMOS: They had to qet cars hauled out of drive-
ways and everything else.

MR. CAVE: We're in a position of the last guy paying the
load. He will pay 100% for curb and 7 ton street or 9 ton
street for people who have already used it - the same benefit.
In other words, all the people Ban-Con built for - Transit and
Galtier Circle - are getting this use for nothing, but the Kath
usage and Cave usage are going to pay the 100% rate. I just
wanted that clear that you know what you want and I'm opposed
to it.

MAYOR DEMOS: Ne know that when you try to sell those
quadrominiums those will be more attractive when they have a
better entry coming in. If I'd hit that road in the condition
it is today, I think I'd say forget it.

MR. CAVE: It's my opinion they don't want to pay $400 a
person for it, but that's my opinion.

MAYOR DEMOS: Anyone else?

MR. HARRY RATH: I live in Roseville. You got to correct
me, or I need a little help on that. I was in talking to the
Council a week or so ago and I was inquiring about maybe selling
the lots on Transit. I own a piece of property south of Cave.
I don't want to go into why this situation came like this, but
it's a very bad, bitter one. I got a bad taste for it, but
I'm stuck with some lots I thought maybe I could (inaudible).
I can't sell the lots because there isn't enough land. I
thought I had some sold, but when they come to find out, they
said they don't want them.

MAYOR DEMOS: Are you speaking to the lots east of 220?
See where the words ItTransi t Avenue" are?

7
