MR. HONCHELL: It looks like 90 feet of dry depth to those
lots.

MR. KATH: I don't want the Council to make light of this,
but if I don't make light of it, I'm gonna sit and cry and
that's why I say, I can see a nice street because I really come
down a nice comfortable street coming in from my home and I
enjoy driving down the street on to these other ones with
gutter - the whole thing. I got a sunken gutter, or curb, in
front of my house but it doesn't bother me because the rest of
the gutter coming to my place looks good, but I can't possibly
see this thing here, and until somebody could - what I'm trying
to say is I need a little help on this and I can't do it alone.

MR. ANDRE: You say you don't have developable lots?

MR. KATH: I can't find anybody that wants to touch them.

MR. ANDRE: Because of DNR - or city - or what?

MR. KATH: I do have the lots, but let me go back into it
a little bit. I wanted to fill back into the lots to make it
a sellable lot. I had a bitter taste (inaudible) to the
meetings that I have had with DNR I'd be scared to go from
the front of the Capitol down (inaudible) for fear one of
these guys was going to nail me, and that's the fear that I've
got on this and that's why I'm saying I need some help on this.

HR. ANDRE: I guess we'll do whatever we can, but I was
trying to clarify if you said you couldn't build for some
official reason.

MR. KATH: I don't know if we could infringe on the bene-
fits of the DNR to go back in there. We might possibly have
some salable lots, but until this time, we can't. Like I say,
I had a pending sale for this here. I took the prOblem of
corning up here. We engineered it so we could get a little
better than 11,000 square foot of lot on this. What's a lot
worth up there? Could I get $12,000 or $13,0001 You know
very well I wouldn't pay that kind of money for it, and I
don't think any other dummy would.

MAYOR DE~~S: You can't buy a lot in Roseville for that
kind 0 f money.

MR. KATH: When you haven't got that much - you got ll,OOO
square feet - but when you're extending into the pond that far
you haven't only enough to make about five passes around the
house with a lawnmower.

MAYOR DEMOS: Some people like that.

MR. KATH: I want plenty of grass and a lot of mosquitos.

9
