in the original package. This is the extreme west end of the
project over at this end near me, with this being the St. Anthony -
Roseville border. In red is a proposal to relocate an existing
privately owned water line, and in doing so, some of the proper-
ties that do not already get served by water would receive this
facility and would be assessed. Also, it's hard to see, but
tilis yellow, there are some extensions of the sanitary sewer
system to the westerly lots in Roseville that now don't have
sewer available. This would be assessed. The areas in green
are storm drainage, and maybe I can continue this map on the
other half. You can see it continues all the way over to 35-W.
This storm drainage, again, was originally anticipated to be
paid by the county entirely, but as this has been reviewed by
the statev they have found by using a standard procedure of
allocating (inaudible) that the city will have to participate in.
We're working with the county to see if the standard procedures
being modified so most of the assessments that may be involved
in this may be assumed by the county and state aid funds. It
has not been resolved at this time, but the technical people
involved are agreed.

The last is curb and gutter which is shown in light brown
that goes the entire length of the roadway.

t1AYOR DEHOS: Could we close the door there? It's getting
difficult to hear in here.

MR. HONCHELL: The actual roadway would be 52 feet wide,
or 4-lane, and as part of the construction there would be traffic
signals installed at Walnut and Lonq Lake Road, with the city
participating in these expenses, but not as assessments. The
county may wish to add considerable detail to this, or not. I
will leave it to their discretion.

[,m. WAYNE LEONARD, County Engineer's Department and coordi-
nating engineer~ As Hr. Honchell has said, the details of the
road have been presented before. I do have a complete set of
plans which have been on file here with the city. I have some
colored exhibits which I will be happy to put up and review if
there's sufficient interest.

I think what I would like to get into first is to go back
to the fact that County Road C is a County State Aid Highway
which means it's part of our system of roads in the county which
is primarily supported by gas tax moneys.

The original improvement that was proposed was approved by
this Council in a feasibility report, and the right-of-way plan
was approved for the acquiSition of right-of-way. ~ith that,
we proceeded to get funds out of our gas tax funds for the
right-of-way acquisition, had the right-of-way plans submitted
to the appraisers, (inaudible) made, offers made to the property
owners, and neqotiations were started. As a result of that,
