II

boulevard - as far as fill in for (inaudible) and that sort of
thing.

MR. HONCHELL: The project incorporates estimated cost for
taking the (inaudible), particularly in the lesser one at 36 feet,
there is a (inaudible) there that would be filled in with what-
ever necessary material, usually just plain ground - earth - and
sod being placed on it to match the existing boulevard areas as
closely as possible, and if your driveways should turn out to
be above or below the estimates provided for the reconstruction of
those, they're graded in to meet the future roadway.

MAYOR DEMOS: Anyone else?

MR. DAVID KILLS, 592 Iona Lane: I would like to goon record
as being one of those on the east side of Dale being in favor of
the project. Two and a half years ago I was on the citizens
Street Committee that studied all of the streets in Roseville and
Iona Lane was one of those that was given particular attention
because of the poor condition of the roadway, and as Mr. Honchell
explained, there is no (inaudible) to put improvements in until
the drainage is put in, and I'm in favor because of that, and I
don't believe this area is being handled any differently than any
other public improvement project that's been handled in Roseville.
Those that are affected are assessed and pay for it.

MR. HONCHELL: This is being handled in a standard manner.

MR. ALBERT KOSMERL, 552 Iona Lane: I want to go on record as
favoring this project. I think, Mayor, you mentioned there were
17 out of 22 that were in favor of the petition. I guess my last
recollection - I think it was 18 out of 2l.

MAYOR DEMOS: I'm just figuring 77% of 22 lots, and the one
is a school property.

MR. KOSMERL: I think this roadway that we live on is in
terrible condition. Something has to be done with it and it not
only reflects Iona Lane but the entire area, and I just want to
go on record as saying I favor it and represent the majority
of the people that could not be here tonight. We all agreed to
the $295 assessment. Without question, we feel it would benefit
Roseville.

MR. DONALD CRAMER, 628 Terrace Drive: I'd like to go on
record as being against this proposal and just (inaudible) the
gentleman that said we're in agreement with the $295 - I'd like to
say the people on that side of the street, but we did not agree
to it on the west side of the street.

MAYOR DEMOS: I think he was referring to the 18 out of 21.

MR. CRAMER: But I'd like to say us other 70% of the people did
not agree to it.
