l8

MR. MANGLE: The water running down these people's driveway
goes this way and the water here will go that way.

MR. HONCHELL: This is what our preliminary investigation
indicates is that that's the way the water is draining and being
picked up.

MAYOR DEMOS: The hearing is closed.

COUNCILMAN ANDERSON: I'd like to ask a question about those
lots. You say they have a storm sewer now?

MR. HONCHELL: The BanCon lots to the east of Dale and south
of that line, yes, they have a system.

COUNCILMAN ANDERSON: Were they assessed?

MR. HONCHELL: I believe that was put in by the developer.

COUNCILMAN ANDERSON: Like the people on the west of Dale.

COUNCILMAN KEHR: Would there be any disturbance of Terrace
Street or Lane putting in that sewer - putting in the catch basins -
would Terrace Drive be disturbed in any way?

MR. HONCHELL: Only at the location where the catch basins
are and the outlets. In the case of Terrace only where the two
catch basins would be located and the crossing across the street
between the two. Iona Lane to the west of Dale Street would be
somewhat the same, namely there would be a pair of catch basins
west of the intersection, a line crossing the street to (inaudible)
them and out to the middle of the intersection.

COUNCILMAN KEHR: There would be a minimal amount of dis-
turbance of Terrace.

MR. HONCHELL: That's right.

COUNCILMAN KEHR: You indicated that the dotted line that you
have according to your preliminary studiesfuat you have done,
that these are the areas that are contributing to the flow of water
into that proposed storm sewer, is that correct?

MR. HONCHELL: That's correct.

COUNCILMAN KEHR: Was that done to the topo through the
elevations that you have on your site plans?

MR. HONCHELL: It was done by general observation in the field
by our survey staff. There was not a complete topo done because we
did not wish to go to that expense until we felt the project
would be constructed.
