13

there - the resurfacing - would this be taken care of at that
time?

MR. HONCHELL: Yes.

MAYOR DEMOS: Anyone else wish to be heard?

MR. DONALD JOHNSON, 1468 County Road C-2. I'm heartily in
favor of the up-grading of C-2. We all know that kids can't
shoot (Inaudible) in the street in the condition it's in.
I'm opposed to the proposal of putting in the sidewalk and pa~king
on the south side. If we're going to let them park, let them
pull in their friend's driveway rather than parking on the street.
Especially in the wintertime. If the street remains at 36 feet
many of the people who do live on the street will find that you
have to zig-zag along in order to get passed the cars that are
parked, partly due to the heavy snow. Now to the sewer project,
but I'm against the sidewalk part of it. It's going to be a collector.
I'm not against children - I love them - but we know what they
do bring. There are many, many things that a sidewalk is good
for but if I have to maintain it I have enough snow to shovel.
I have a snow blower and that probably wouldn't help either,
but be that as it may, sidewalks are good but I moved out to
Roseville from Midway a few years ago because I liked the rural
atmosphere.

Now to the sewer project. Where I live, is there going
to be a catch basin around there somewhere - right on the corner?

MR. HONCHELL: The proposal is to have one at the immediate
west edge of your property.

MR. JOHNSON: And is that going to be the only facility as
far as sewer goes - sanitary or storm sewer - in that area?

MR. HONCHELL:
sewer in your part
there are sanitary
for that southerly

The other services such as watermain, sanitary
of the project are in. The only part where
or water costs is in the extreme western edge
lot.

MR. JOHNSON: One thing Mr. Popovich mentioned was the
water services - what does that include?

MR. HONCHELL: That's for that extreme westerly lot and
that's the only one involved. I mean the extreme southeasterly
lot.

MR. JOHNSON: Thank you.

MR. ANDRE: Did you say you were opposed to parking on the
south side?

MR. JOHNSON: No parking at all. Drive along there in the
wintertime and you will understand. Of course, all streets are
