16 COUNCILMAN KEHR: I believe you stated that would be in toward the street two feet from the property line. MR. HONCHELL: That's the plan. COUNCILMAN KEHR: And the pathway would be five feet wide, and then you have three feet left between the pathway and the street. MR. HONCHELL: We expect it to be five to seven feet. COUNCILMAN KEHR: with the amount of snow we have had this winter and the snow plowing, those pathways would not be usable in the winter. MR. HONCHELL: It all depends on the maintenance they get - not by the city. COUNCILMAN KEHR: In other words, ~n answer to Mrs. Schmidt's question, she said she would be unable to maintain that, but if it's seven feet away with the snow plows coming through, and in my neighborhood they plow it more than seven feet into the right-of- way and it would be a task for the homeowner to plow the snow out as heavy and as hard as it was this winter. It would be virtually impossible and I think that should be given some consideration. MAYOR DEMOS: We have pathways on Fairview Avenue and we have pathways on County Road B-2. We have other pathways. They are not being maintained this winter, but they are in use, I would say, eight months out of the year.
