5

lot of hell because I dumped a few yards of dirt in there and
that's (inaudible) I wish I would have dumped more at the time
but anyway, I'm opposed to it.

MAYOR DEMOS:
matter?

Anyone else that wishes to be heard on this

MR. LAWRENCE
brown line corning
sewer on the east
that right?

NAGEL, 2560 Fernwood: As I understand it, the
off the catch basin will join the present storm
side of that small pond that's on my property, is

HR. HONCHELL:

That's correct.

MR. NAGEL: And that's as far as this project goes.

MR. HONCHELL: That's correct.

MR. NAGEL: Don't continue (inaudible) As far as I was
concerned, you could let it overflow in the other pond and let it
go in the other catch basin because that has a four inch overflow
in it now - the upper pond.

MR. HONCHELL: That's a consideration. One of the things
we're interested in is that those people that abut the easterly
pond that Mr. Kluzar said dries up at times - we're not necessarily
adverse to diverting from that manhole into the other pond.
One of the reasons we didn't is because typically speaking, when
that water gets that high it's probably also going to be high in
the second pond and we thought that instead of introducing more
water in that pond and affecting some of the homes and lots there
that we would take it directly. If the people adjacent to that
pond would like to see more water we would be very happy to
consider that as a change in the plan.

MR. NAGEL: When we had those tremendous rains this past summer
it was going out the overflow for several days because I was
checking it every day to see where the high level came on my
property.

MR. HONCHELL: If you and the other owners along that pond
would prefer to see us divert this into the (inaudible) outfall
we would be happy to consider that.

}ffi. NAGEL: (inaudible) although there is a fault in the
present overflow. It's leaking down below the actual level that
you try to hold and the water is going out of the pond itself.
(inaudible) elbow in the overflow.

MR. HONCHELL: I didn't know that.

MR. NAGEL: Probably three or four feet down. The leak would
be in the northwest corner because I was watching it because we
were happy to have the water up there.
