for the City of Roseville, tying that information back to the <br />Imagine Roseville 2025 goals and strategies (5 7 minutes) <br />Commissioner McGehee Review action steps taken by the HRC since the previous <br />meeting (1 year ago) with the City Council to make the <br />community more welcoming; and action steps to move <br />forward; questions /comments of the City Council <br />Commissioner McKenzie opined her support for the proposed presentation format, encouraging <br />that each component focus on the City's visioning statement and represent an outgrowth of the <br />HRC's Statement of Purpose, with the results of the joint meeting be to work collectively to <br />develop the HRC's strategic goals. Commissioner supported making a positive presentation. <br />Commissioner Venters said the police department training may need to be a long -term pursuit, <br />and clarified that the HRC's intent was to be an observer with other regional law enforcement <br />agencies (i.e., FBI and Attorney General's Office) providing diversity training for officers. <br />Commissioners concurred that they would arrive at the meeting on April 14 at approximately <br />6:30 p.m. to coordinate the presentation and handout materials and format and organization of <br />the materials. <br />Commissioner Oftelie suggested that a file copy of the presentation be archived with other HRC <br />materials at City Hall. <br />Chair Delmore volunteered to e -mail Commissioners Bosch and Crump to invite them to the <br />meeting with the City Council. <br />Adjournment <br />Commissioner Delmore moved and Commissioner McKenzie seconded adjournment of the <br />meeting at 8:06 p.m. Motion carried 5/0. <br />
