Minnehaha-Hiawatha Corridor (Hennepin County),MN <br /> Community Visioning and Strategic Development Framework: Designed and led <br /> implementation for all public participation for this collaborative corridor planning effort <br /> in south Minneapolis. Community issues and priorities drove the framework and will <br /> yield millions in county, city, and other public/private infrastructure investments in this <br /> aged industrial corridor. The framework also incorporated existing plans and extensive <br /> new research and analysis. Successfully reached out to underrepresented stakeholders and <br /> also facilitated community and technical committees that wove together key issues, goals <br /> and strategies, and information into a viable framework. <br /> City of Minneapolis Department of Public Works,Bicycle Master Planning <br /> Stakeholder Engagement: Supporting city staff and the citywide Bicycle Advisory <br /> Committee to gather community input on the draft Minneapolis Bicycle Master Plan <br /> through a series of focused community conversations, an online survey, and emailed <br /> comments. Compiling input and working with staff and committee members to modify <br /> the Plan to more thoughtfully and effectively meet citywide short- and long-term needs. <br /> Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition Strategic Plan <br /> Collaborative Stakeholder Consultation and Decision Support: Working with internal <br /> steering committee to develop and implement process that included stakeholder <br /> identification and analysis, goal-setting, and consulting guidance for this fledgling <br /> nonprofit. <br /> E-Democracy.org Evaluation of Inclusive Social Media <br /> Participatory Evaluation of Outreach and Inclusion Efforts on Issues Forums: As part of <br /> its own strategic plan and the subsequent Ford Foundation-funded Inclusive Social Media <br /> project, E-Democracy created the Frogtown and Cedar-Riverside Issues Forums <br /> explicitly to reach out to new immigrants,people of color,people in poverty, and youth. <br /> This project uses a participatory process to determine the effectiveness and value of <br /> various strategies and approaches, and provide long-term guidance for such efforts <br /> nationally and internationally. <br /> Minnesota Department of Education, Early Childhood Education Standards and <br /> Indicators <br /> Stakeholder Consultation and Decision Support: Working with joint Education and <br /> Human Services workgroup responding to legislative direction to prepare a set of <br /> common early childhood education standards and quality indicators. Designing and <br /> conducting robust statewide stakeholder consultation on these draft standards and <br /> indicators, and supporting multiagency team to make decisions informed by that input <br /> and prepare final recommendations for the Legislature. <br />
