Mr.
Maloney suggested that if the Board could be firm about the expectations of the firm(s) and their
expectations of city staff for supporting documentation, local plans, data, and maps, to the
greatest extent that could be articulated by the firm, it would be of great assistance for staff in
providing that information in a timely way. Mr. Maloney advised that his main question for the
EOR proposal was to clearly understand each respective city's role in development and
implementation of the plan.
Mr. Schwartz asked that the firm(s) be asked to clarify goals, policies and regulatory
expectations of watershed districts for the cities, noting that in Roseville, preference was given to
see some level of consistency for storm water management, volume and infiltration across
watershed districts, further noting that they were part of the Capitol Region Watershed District
and Rice Creek Watershed District.
Chair Ferrington confirmed that with two watershed districts and the GLWMO having
responsibility for portions of Roseville, and with one watershed district and GLWMO in
Shoreview, such consistency was definitely an important component.
New Business
Review /Payment of Invoices
Mr. Peterson revised the invoice list for tonight's meeting by removing Item 4 identified as
Administrative Services for RCD from July 1, 2010 to October 22, 2010; and advised that he was
9
