11

MR. LEONARD LUTA, 1510 Clarmar: I have some questions of
the engineer. It's peculiar. I've lived in that spot for 26
years. That lot and the one across the street have the highest
elevation in the whole area you're speaking of. That's the
Snelling end. I'm curious. Are the catch basins necessary
in that particular area? I have never seen water stand, never.

MR. HONCHELL: I think there are some facilities, be it
substandard, that are there today. Most of those intersections
along there have some points (inaudible).

MR. LUTA: It drains both ways toward Lydia. What I'm
wondering about, will those catch basins be put (inaudible) In
other words, I'm on Snelling Drive which is owned by the state.
They have an easement (inaudible) I notice that the state has an
easement in there and I have been mowing that grass - about eight
or nine feet of it - but what I'm wondering about, will the
catch basins go in that area or over onto the lot - on my lot?

MR. HONCHELL: In front of your lot versus over on the service
drive.

MR. LUTA: Can't you get an easement from the state to put it
there?

MR. HONCHELL: We would have to put it on the edge of the
roadway, but whether on your lot or the easement I can't tell
you yet because the detail design isn't done. If you have
any particular problem (inaudible)

MR. LUTA: You have put it in an area (inaudible).

MR. HONCHELL: The intent is to put it where it will collect
the water and serve the needs best. If you have a particular
problem we will work with you.

MR. LUTA: When the line runs along Snelling Drive, does that
run on state property?

MR. HONCHELL: It would be on the west side of the service
drive.

MR. LUTA: How about the tress and stuff in there?

MR. HONCHELL: We feel we can do that with minimal impact
to the trees.

MR. LUTA: If you take them out, do you replace them?

MR. HONCHELL: I would say that would be part of the improve-
ment.

MRS. CAROLYN CUSHING, 3031 Simpson: I have a question of Mr.
Honchell. Where does the water go in A - where does that eventually
drain?
