Discussion included the project budget; the DNR study; <br />creation and writing of a plan and determination that efforts were not being duplicated. Len <br />Ferrington noted that his understanding of the DNR's intent was to assist with a weed <br />management plan, not for point intercept surveys, with a separate survey of aquatics Mr. <br />Petersen concurred, and offered to follow -up to verify the specifics with the DNR; noting that if <br />Ramsey County couldn't do it, Ramsey/Washington staff was willing to get involved and the <br />GLWMO could contract with them to do it, providing another option to accomplish surveying; <br />and strongly suggested that the Board consider one of those options. <br />Submit Clean Water Legacy Grant Request to BWSR (August) <br />Chair Pro Tem Eckman directed Mr. Petersen to change this item to July, rather than August. <br />Chair Pro Tem Eckman called the question on <br />with items noted during the discussion of the pl <br />Motion 11 -03 -10 <br />Member Von De Linde moved, and Member <br />2011 Work -Plan as presented by Mr. Petersen. <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />Miscellaneous Discussions <br />MPCA TMDL Study Proposal <br />the GLWMO 2011 Work Plan, as presented and, <br />an. <br />Westerberg seconded, approval of the GLWMO <br />March 22 Stakeholders' Meeting <br />Action Step <br />Chair Pro Tem Eckman reminded Ms. Correll to invite Jim Tolaas, Ramsey County Public <br />Works Director, to the Third Stakeholder's meeting scheduled for March 22. Ms. Correll advised <br />that she had invited Mr. Noonan, and would also invite Mr. Tolaas. <br />Water quality Monitoring Equipment owned by GLWMO- <br />Mr. Petersen noted the availability of three (3) monitoring stations waiting to be utilized and <br />currently stored at Ramsey/Washington facilities (flow monitors and grab samplers). Chair Pro <br />Tem Eckman noted for the record that the Board owned the monitoring equipment. Mr. Petersen <br />noted that the Board had been asked to find a place to store it rather than at its current location. <br />Mr. Schwartz was asked to determine if storage space was available at one of the member cities <br />facilities for the equipment. <br />Action step <br />Chair Pro Tem Eckman directed Mr. Petersen to retrieve the GLWMO Board's equipment from <br />the Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District. <br />6 <br />
